I bought a battery for mine last night so I can actually start it for once. That count?

yes, making the vehicle start is definitely a start.

For some reason I feel like just ripping out the motor and trans and going through them...then put the go fast parts back during re-assembly. Why....don't know...boredom...possibly.

at some point I still plan to build a motor. Get a block and put it together with upgraded parts as I go, learning along the way. We'll see though as the budget doesn't want to cooperate.

trying to keep my head above water...whats up with you?

I've been doing ok keeping my head above water, it's just all the feet pushing it back under that are the problem.

Well, I would post, but I'm busy stripping apart a '91 Formula so it can be painted, along with periodically swearing at General Motors for using fasteners so &$#*ing cheap one might expect to find them on a Communist-era Trabant.

Bean Counter: Hey, we can save $2 a car by using these cheap fasteners from <random third world country>!
Engineer: But, half of them will crumble into dust anytime someone has to remove them. Our customers will be cursing our names when those parts need to be removed for service.

I drove the Bird to work today.
Boy it has been way too long since I've got to drive her.
Oh crap, I have a leaking injector seal at the fuel rail.
Gotta get that fixed.

I have a laundry list of parts waiting to be installed. Injectors are one of them.

I don't even have 15,000 on it yet! The Dual-Toddler mod consumes so much time, I think it's actually losing miles!

I have a little over 62,000 now.
As of yesterday I've put 115 miles in the last year
but that will change this year as long as the 10 bolt
hangs in there. lol

I'm debating on going to a smaller cam and driving it to work.

well, i got one terminal of the battery on. the other will probably take another month or two!

Put the other terminal on and fired it right up. Oh the smell of fast, how i've missed you!!
